specialty coffee "from seed to cup" with max respect for growers
Specialty coffee stands for high-quality coffee that begins with a fair relationship with the farmers who grow the beans. It’s about specific roasting methods and precise brewing techniques, using only Arabica beans. At IzyCoffee, we make sure to work with the finest specialty coffee beans, brewed to perfection on the sophisticated La Marzocco Belgium espresso machines by professionally trained baristas.
Our IzyCoffee house blend is roasted and crafted by Creme de la Crema in Roeselare. Together with Michael Van de Moortel, we’ve created a blend that’s both complex and delightfully enjoyable. This high-quality IzyCoffee blend is made from 100% Arabica beans: 80% natural Brazil and 20% washed Colombia. The Brazilian beans deliver a sweet, nutty, chocolatey flavor, while the Colombian beans add amazing complexity with a full, dried fruit-like body.
If you can identify these flavor notes in our IzyCoffee, you might already qualify for our next IzyCoffee training—because that means you’re a true coffee specialist!

reusable IzyCoffee tumbler for regular customers
At IzyCoffee, our top priority is encouraging in-store and take-away coffee consumption using the reusable IzyCoffee tumbler. Not only is this great for the planet, but it’s also good for your wallet! Every time you buy a coffee with your reusable IzyCoffee tumbler, you get €1 off your purchase—for a one-time purchase price of only €10. And as a bonus, you get a cool piece of merchandise to show off your love for great coffee!

100% recyclable IzyCoffee cups
IzyCoffee serves coffee in 100% recyclable cups. While disposable cups might have a bad reputation in Belgium, we’ve partnered with waste management companies to ensure that our recyclable IzyCoffee cups are properly recycled.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to switch from porcelain mugs to disposable cups, and we decided to stick with this change. Why? With around 1 million coffees sold per year, scientific research shows that industrial dishwashers, which use excessive amounts of water and detergent, aren’t exactly eco-friendly.

only plantbased milkcoffees
Alpro, Good for you (and your coffee)
When you spend hours perfecting your coffee blend, you want the best to top it off. That’s why IzyCoffee chooses Alpro.
This plant-based pioneer creates products bursting with flavor and natural goodness. Alpro even has a special barista range, developed by baristas to perfectly complement your coffee.
Most Alpro products are naturally low in saturated fats and sugars, and they’re a great source of calcium. Yep, they’re good for you.
And Good for the Planet Too
Another reason why Alpro is such an amazing partner? They’re helping our planet—one cappuccino at a time. By making your daily cappuccino with a splash of oat milk, we save as much water per year as 59 eight-minute showers*. Pretty impressive, right?
Plus, Alpro sources its ingredients as close to home as possible: gluten-free European oats, Mediterranean almonds, and soy that doesn’t travel from rainforests.
And it’s not just our milk that’s plant-based! All our pastries are 100% vegan too.

using coffee grounds in a completely circular way
Every coffee experience starts with a coffee bean. Unfortunately, at the end of its linear lifecycle, that bean usually ends up as coffee grounds—considered waste. At IzyCoffee, we’re determined to change that by repurposing our coffee grounds and giving them a new life.
We’re currently developing reusable IzyCoffee tumblers made from our very own coffee grounds that would otherwise go to waste. This initiative helps us divert 50 tons of coffee grounds from the waste stream and reintegrates them into the cycle, offering our loyal customers a one-of-a-kind tumbler. It’s good for the planet and your wallet! And that’s just the beginning—the possibilities with coffee grounds are endless. Who knows? You might soon spot utensils or patio furniture made from coffee grounds in our shops.

Zero food-waste warriors
Since 2021, IzyCoffee has proudly taken a stand against food waste. We were one of the first partners of Too Good To Go in Belgium. Over time, we’ve refined our operations so efficiently that we’ve implemented our own in-house processes to combat food waste. Today, we’re proud to say that IzyCoffee generates virtually no food waste. With our six sustainability pillars, we aim to further highlight our commitment to impactful entrepreneurship.
