It all started with one person in late September 2018, operating a vintage coffee truck under the bridge at the train station in Izegem. By November 2018, we had grown into a core team of four and opened our very first IzyCoffee store in Izegem. From there, we expanded further, opening two more stores in Tielt and Torhout. In the midst of the pandemic, we made the bold decision to strengthen our company financially with the arrival of a business angel. Our core team grew to five partners, supported by a few student baristas.

Fast forward to mid-2023, and we’ve become a dream team of about 50 people. This includes partners, store managers, baristas, student baristas, and support staff, all trained at the IzyCoffee Barista Academy. Together, we run 22 IzyCoffee stores that are open 365 days a year from 8 AM to 6 PM. We’re incredibly proud of every single member of our team. Everyone at IzyCoffee brings immense value not just to the company, but also to each other, our customers, our ever-growing team of shareholders, the property owners of our stores, our suppliers, neighbours, local communities, and municipal governments. In short, to the entire community of IzyCoffee stakeholders. For five years now, we’ve been dedicated to creating life-changing, exquisite coffee experiences every single day.
